What is layered SVG?

Layered SVG is a cut file with multiple layers for multi-colored design. Layers allow you to be able to separate colors and cut by color which is great for making adhesive vinyl and heat transfer vinyl for t-shirts, window decals, coffee mugs, etc. It's also great for paper crafting such as handmade cards, event signs, and banners, especially when you need to create dimensional pieces instead of flat print outs.

Our SVG files are carefully made for layering and tested multiple times with Cricut Design Space and Silhouette to make sure that there is no error in the design. You will be able to ungroup the design and separate colors easily. Our design elements fit perfectly together like puzzle pieces. We set up the layers to avoid the overlapping (for smooth vinyl!) as much as possible but also try to keep it simple so you can layer your vinyl with ease.
